I would much rather be cold, than this hot I can tell you - at least it is possible to get warm. Its virtually impossible to stay cool down here - there is the constant threat of the power cutting out at any point in time too...
Having said that I couldnt live in those places of short days and no sun either...
Our families are all initially from England so as you can imagine we are very fair skinned - adding again to the dramas of the heat.
Have already had 2 basal cell carcinomas removed - its a real effort to keep my (fair skinned) kids protected too...

I sooooo don't miss that about Boise.
So that's what causing it. I learn something everyday when blogging. Hope it warms up soon. Our heat is not as bad as Kim's but we have much more humidity.Queensland Australia
